Love is Sweet

Playing along with the fun sketches at Heather's blog
Heather Leopard posted several inspiring layouts of hers and invited us to be a #sketchyscrapper Here's the one that inspired me to scrap our Naples Zoo picture:
Here is a close up of some of the Amy Tangerine paper triangles from her Finders Keepers collection.
I also used cork letters/phrases from Crate Paper Journey collection, Maggie Holmes' vellum phrase and ephemera, Amy Tangerine Thickers and a Dear Lizzy cork bow. Loved this fun challenge and another reason to dig into my scrap stash! I purchased everything from Paper Issues and I am linking up to their themed issue: Showered with Love this month.

Love: Forever & Always

Ah, the sweet month of love! This is a fun peek-a-boo heart cut file from Elle's Studio. This was created for Paper Issues TakeFive Challenge.
The fun peachy pinks in Crate Paper Hello, Love were fun to color match paint splats to!
Lots of dimension and textures to add some pops of fun!

Oh, that was Fun

Using up a bunch of Seven Paper from the Amelia line.
I am loving the pops of gold metallic thread. I also busted out several star punches for this Disneyland page.
Happy faces for the fun carousel near the castle.

We Belong

We Belong is a free cut file from Paper Issues. I watercolored the title words to go with the Amy Tangerine Stitched color palette.
I made the photo mat with strips of papers. This a a great way to use bits of paper scraps, 6x6 pads, or leftover strips you crop off of other layouts.
I added stitching to hold it in place. I also added Amy Tangerine washi tape to mimic the colors in the upper left corner of the paper.
The autumn colors worked perfectly with this collection and also called for gold mist to complete the page.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

I loved the CP Craft Market string art letter paper and used some of the letters on this layout. Our toddler loves the window seat view and this captured him at age 3 during Spring break to Orlando.
I added stitching to the letters to make the title uniform in color and kept the colors to oranges and blues.
October Afternoon stitched banners from their Traveler Girl line, worked in well with this page theme.
I popped up the JET for dimension and called this challenge entry done!
