Roll the Dice

Today it's December's Roll the Dice with Danielle at Paper Issues!  She rolled a 5 for photos and 4 for alphas!  Always a feat to incorporate 5 photos, so I included a photo collage I made on the PhotoGrid app.  If you haven't checked out their free app, do it!

I also used a bunch of stash from Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Bloom thickers and Shine wood veneer birthday stickers, Also, We R Memory Keepers It Factor wood veneer along with enamel dots from everywhere!

I love that sweet pink bow from Maggie Holmes Thickers.  The mix of alphas was inspired by tone on tone.  I tried to make some neutral in color and others match the stripe of color from patterned paper number 4 they are posted in.  This helps not to overwhelm the eye as it scans the page!

Brooklyn loved hosting her party at Michael's in the classroom.  The girls all made things and had fun being creative!S

The WE R  and Maggie Holmes collection wood veneer stickers are a fun look and I am glad tried them out with this birthday theme!

Thanks for taking a peek!  Check out the rest of the team up on the blog and in our Facebook Paper Issues Friends and Fans (PIFF) group.

#allthethings

A grid design is a great way to showcase several pictures without overwhelming the page. I created this LO back in March for PI's online Scrap event and realized I never blogged it. Our family adores our time at Disney parks so this is a snapshot of a day at Disney World in March doing #allthethings !
I wanted to use wood veneer numbers to correspond to the vellum journaling at the  bottom of the page.
The fun #allthethings cut files are from The Cut Shoppe. I watercolored it to coordinate with the Amy Tangerine papers. The grid of circles can be found on Kim Watson's blog. Here's to hoping all the things are magical in your world today!

You are my Sunshine

Brooklyn picked out this colorful hat while visiting the beach in Naples, FL for Spring Break.  It was perfect against the citron chairs at the resort later in the week.  I loved this cut file found free from the Paper Issues store:You Are My Sunshine
I used a variety of papers from Studio Calico, Webster's Pages,  and Dear Lizzy.  The wood veneer pieces are from Chic Tags Cloud 9 Bloom .
The yellow washi tape is from the Studio Calico March Odyssey kit.  After photographing the page, I stitched it down in place!
I typed up the additional lyrics to the song using the same font and made it into a flag.
May the weather cooperate and continue to shine this spring!
